Ute Women Place Six on Academic All-MWC Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference today announced the 2003 academic all-conference team for women's basketball. Six Utes received the honor, including repeat selections Kelsy Stireman and Lana Sitterud.

To be eligible for the all-academic team, a player must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor.

The Utes selected are listed below, followed by their year, GPA and major.
