The two were selected to the final roster after training with the Canadian National Team for the last eight days.
The Olympic Qualification Tournament runs Sept. 17-21 and will yield just one berth to the 2004 Summer Games. In order to qualify for the 2004 Olympics, Canada must win the tournament. The U.S. has already qualified for the Athens Games by virtue of its gold medal at the 2003 World Championships.
Team Canada will depart for Culiacan on Sunday, Sept. 14, and will begin play in Group B alongside Argentina, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Group A consists of Brazil, Chile and Mexico.

At the end of the preliminary round, the top two teams in each pool qualify for the semifinals. The semifinal round will feature a crossover format, where the Pool A and Pool B winners will play the second-place teams in the opposite pool.
The semifinal games are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. (EST). The bronze medal game will be played at 9 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, Sept. 21, followed by the gold medal game at 11 p.m. (EST).
