SALT LAKE CITY - The Associated Press Preseason Top 25 was released Monday, with the Utah women's basketball team among the squads receiving votes.
Utah garnered 38 points, just three spots out of the Top 25. The Utes' season-opening opponent, Stanford, was ranked No. 7. Utah's third opponent, Michigan State, is ranked No. 15. Another early-season opponent, Oklahoma, was ranked No. 22. Georgia, a potential opponent at the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii later this month, was ranked No. 5.
