Halie Sawyer (6-1, Forward, Panguitch, Utah/Panguitch HS)
Panguitch High School - Named Utah Class 1A Player of the Year in 2004-05 and 2005-06 ... Led Panguitch High School to back-to-back state championships as a junior and senior ... Played in Utah Class 1A State Championship game all four years, winning three state titles ... Three-time all-state performer, also earning second-team all-state honors as a freshman ... Scored more than 20 points per game at Panguitch in 2005-06 ... Also a standout volleyball player and track and field athlete ... Three-time all-state volleyball selection, earning Class 1A Player of the Year honors during her junior season ... Two-time all-state track and field selection.

Iolani High School - Named second-team all-state as a junior by both the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin ... Earned first-team Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I honors last season ... Named to the all-tournament team at the 2005 Punahou Wahine Spring Classic ... Has been a first-team all-league selection for two consecutive seasons ... Led Honolulu Interscholastic League in three-point shooting as both a freshman and sophomore ... Named to the Headmaster's List (3.5 GPA or higher) from 8th-11th grades.

Named honorable mention all-state as both a freshman and sophomore ... Has been named a preseason top 15 all-state performer for the upcoming season ... Led her team to a state championship and went undefeated last season ... Team was ranked No. 23 in the nation by Prep Nation last year ... Pahranagat Valley High School - Named first-team all-Greater Nevada for the past two seasons ... Averaged 21 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.1 steals per game last season ... Third-team all-Greater Nevada as a freshman ... Named Most Valuable Player of Southern Nevada Class 1A for three straight years ... Also earned first-team all-Southern Nevada 1A honors in her first three years of high school ... Has led Pahranagat Valley High School to three consecutive Nevada Class 1A State Championships ... Ranked second in the state in scoring last season, averaging 20.5 points per game, despite playing limited minutes late in blowout victories ... Ranked seventh in the state in rebounding and seventh in three-pointers made ... Set a Class 1A state tournament record with 36 points in a semifinal game during the 2003 tournament ... Team earned academic state champions in 2003 and 2005 ... Has also won three straight Class 1A championships in volleyball, playing under her mother Ginger Whipple, who has led Pahranagat Valley to 10 state championships in her career ... Joins Lauren Beckman as a rural Nevada prep star to play collegiately at Utah ...
