SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah women's basketball assistant coach Carolyn DeHoff has been named one of the top recruiters in the nation, among assistant coaches.
DeHoff was ranked as the No. 9 recruiter in the nation by the publication. The ranking came from a survey of more than 2,000 subscribers to the magazine.
DeHoff recently finished her third season as an assistant coach on Utah head coach Elaine Elliott's staff. Prior to her time at Utah, DeHoff was an assistant coach at Weber State for five seasons. She also served as the top assisstant at Wyoming for seven seasons.
DeHoff has also coached in the high school ranks, helping to lead Coronado High School (Scottsdale, Ariz.) to back-to-back state championships as an assistant coach with the Dons. DeHoff was a standout player and team captain at Arizona State. She graduated from ASU in 1991.
