Utah at No. 25 New Mexico Sunday
The University of Utah women's basketball team travels to Albuquerque, N.M. Sunday for a Mountain West Conference matchup with the New Mexico Lobos. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on CSTV.
Utah improved its overall record to 8-6 Thursday night, winning its Mountain West Conference opener. The Utes came from behind to defeat San Diego State, 51-48. It was the seventh time in eight years that Utah has won its first MWC contest.
New Mexico is ranked No. 25 in the Associated Press Top 25 and is receiving votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Lobos dropped their Mountain West Conference opener on the road at Wyoming Thursday night. The Cowgirls upended New Mexico, 54-51.
