Utes Host New Mexico Thursday
The University of Utah women's basketball team wrapped up a rough road trip last weekend. The Utes dropped a 56-55 decision at Wyoming Thursday and lost 71-66 at San Diego State Saturday.
Utah will look to bounce back with a three-game homestand, which begins Thursday. New Mexico will visit the Jon M. Huntsman Center for a 7 p.m. contest. The Utes defeated New Mexico 49-48 back on Jan. 7 at The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M.
The Lobos are coming off a hard-fought, 50-43 victory over Wyoming Sunday in Albuquerque. New Mexico is now 15-7 overall and back above .500 in the MWC at 5-4.
Utah will enter the contest with the Lobos at 14-8 overall and 7-2 in the MWC, good enough for second place. The Utes have not lost more than two in a row all season.
