Utah Travels to Face Illinois in WNIT
The University of Utah women's basketball team has won at least one postseason game for the third consecutive season. The Utes have won at least one game in each of their past five postseason appearances ('07, '06, '05, '03 and '01).
Utah will look to extend its 2006-07 season in a second-round WNIT contest at Illinois Monday. The Utes enter the contest with a 19-13 overall record. Utah advanced to the second round of the WNIT with a 78-70, come-from-behind victory over Montana in the first round Wednesday night in Salt Lake City.
Illinois comes into Monday night's contest with an 18-11 overall record. The Fighting Illini finished 8-8 in Big Ten play, good enough for fourth place in the league. Illinois dropped a 61-49 decision to Penn State in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. The Illini haven't played since March 2.

Take Two, They're Free
Utah struggled at the free-throw line in the early portion of the season, but has improved so much that they are now the No. 15 team in the nation in free-throw percentage (.763). The Utes were converting just 67.6 percent of their attempts at the charity stripe through their 13 non-conference games. Since the calendar turned over to 2007, Utah has hit at an .824 clip from the stripe. Five Utes are shooting better than 78 percent at the line in that span.
Mo Toes The Line
Sophomore guard Morgan Warburton (Helper, Utah) was 5-for-6 at the free-throw line against Montana Wednesday. Despite her lone miss against the Lady Griz, Warburton is one of the top free-throw shooters in the nation. She is No. 2 in the MWC and No. 8 in the nation with an .887 percentage. For the season, she is 134-of-151, only missing 17 times. In addition to her free-throw shooting, Warburton has scored in double figures in 28 of Utah's 32 games this season. Warburton was a first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection and ranks second in the league in scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game.
