The Utah women's basketball players will periodically check in with their thoughts on the season. Today, Morgan Warburton talks about Utah's upcoming games.
Hello fans!!!
It's Mo here and I hope all is well with every one of you! How bout those Utes? As you already know things have been going well for the Lady Utes these past couple of weeks. The last win for us against UNLV was one that we definitely needed in order to get some momentum going into this week's action. Anyone who follows Utah athletics will know that this next opponent is what every die-hard fan as well as the athletes look forward too. Who else could it be other than those friends of ours down south..BYU!! I am so excited as well as the rest of the team to finally get to play them this year. Like any other year we look forward to the challenge and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the win!! Hopefully we can put on a show similar to last year's performance when the scoreboard read 23-0. :) It would be great to see a decent crowd heading down to Provo to help cheer us on to another victory. We won't let you down!
Now on to the next test this week, the Lobos!! This week is without a doubt one of the most important weeks for us this season. It is always difficult to play at The Pit but I've found that the Utes thrive on the atmosphere and look forward to it!! I am so proud of what this team has accomplished this season, it started out slow but I knew we would come together and be the team that we have shown these last few weeks. Now everyone is gunning for us!! :)
I wanted to let you all know that we appreciate your support this year and in the years past. It is great to know there are people who really care about what we are doing and what we believe in. Tell all your friends how great we are and how fun it is to watch Utah Women's Basketball this year. Bring them to the next game and we'll prove it to them. We appreciate your commitment in us and hope to see you at the next home game, or better yet down in BYU!!
