The Utah women's basketball team has begun their preparations for the 2009-10 campaign. Players will be writing about their experiences throughout the year, beginning with freshman Rachel Messer's below. Also below are some photos from their most recent practice.
Hi Fans!
I know that you are DYING to know what we have been up to these past few weeks. Well, we all survived pre-season early morning workouts. 6:30am workouts four times a week...yes, that's right, it's not a typo. 6:30 A.M.!! The coaches were SUPER nice and let us all go home for fall break to see our families and get re-energized for the season. It came at a perfect time too! We all came back rested and excited to start official practices.
We've had six full practices so far and they've been great. It's a lot of hard work, but it will all be worth it when we represent the U of U well!!
Can't wait to see you all cheering us on in November!
