The Utah women's basketball players will periodically check in with their thoughts on the season. Today, Hannah Stephens talks about Utah's upcoming games.
Hey Crimson Crazies!
We're on the road right now in sunny California (and finally out of the snow!) getting ready for our next opponent, San Diego State. We just came off a win against Wyoming last Sunday night--our "think pink" game to promote breast cancer awareness--so we're hoping to keep the momentum up. From our last game against San Diego, we learned they're a team who is successful by playing strong pressure defense and pushing the ball in transition; as a team we're striving to take care of the basketball and limit turnovers to beat the Aztecs. As you know, we've had a very successful first half of the conference, but we're still looking to improve and get better every game. After this San Diego State game, we travel straight to Colorado Springs to play Air Force--we'll miss you guys on the road! We will be back in Utah soon enough and hope to see you, your friends, and family at the Huntsman center.
