SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's basketball team will close out the second game of a two-game, five-day road trip at Air Force on Saturday, Feb. 14, in Colorado Springs.
The Utes will be looking to rebound from a 55-49 loss at San Diego State that snapped a 12-game winning streak and a record 25-game regular season Mountain West Conference winning streak. Kalee Whipple led Utah with 20 points, as turnovers and their lowest shooting percentage of the MWC campaign doomed the Utes against the Aztecs.
Utah looks to keep Air Force winless in conference play. The Falcons are 4-19 overall and 0-10 in MWC action this year. Raimee Beck and Brooke Cultra are averaging in double figure scoring, with 12.6 and 12.1 points, respectively. Kim Kreke has a team-high 9.5 rebounds to go with 9.1 points per game.
The Utes defeated Air Force in Salt Lake City on Jan. 14, a 68-43 win. Utah was led by Morgan Warburton's 21 points while the Falcon's Liz Dunsworth had 12.
