The Ute football team turns its attention to season-opening foe Pittsburgh this week with the start of regular season practices. Practices are closed to the public. The Utah-Pitt game is Thu., Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium.
TICKET TALK
Standing room-only tickets are still available for the season-opener against Pittsburgh. In other ticketing news, the Utah-TCU game on Nov. 6 is down to standing-room only tickets, as well. The Utah-BYU game on Nov. 27 is completely sold out. Utah has sold a school-record 31,737 season tickets.

The annual Fan Fest is back after a one-year absence. The Fan Fest is scheduled for 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28 in Rice-Eccles Stadium. The football team will swing by the Fan Fest after its morning practice. Admittance and parking to the Fan Fest are free ... The 2010 team captains, as voted by their teammates, are:
