With the start to the women's basketball season just around the corner, UtahUtes.com will be spotlighting the members of the women's basketball team in `Getting to Know.' Today's spotlight is junior Chelsea Bridgewater.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
Last year's Mountain West Conference semifinal game against BYU.
What is your favorite sport besides basketball?
Football
What do you like to do when you are not playing basketball?
Water ski, hike, cook, travel, spend time with family and friends.
Why did you choose Utah?
I've always dreamed of being a Ute, and after attending some summer camps in high school, I decided it was a program that I definitely wanted to become a part of.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My parents have always encouraged me to accomplish any goals through hard work.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
I love the mountains!
The teammate I most admire is who, and why?
Michelle Plouffe. She is so stinkin' versatile and gifted.
What do you like best about Coach Levrets?
His energy and enthusiasm.
What are your goals for this year?
To work hard every single day and do everything I can do to make myself and everyone around me better.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
I am a political science and psychology major with a business minor. I plan to pursue a JD/MBA degree.
