With the start to the women's basketball season just around the corner, UtahUtes.com will be spotlighting the members of the women's basketball team in `Getting to Know.' Today's spotlight is junior Rita Sitivi.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
Winning the MWC Tournament.
What is your favorite sport besides basketball?
Rugby
What do you like to do when you are not playing basketball?
Watch movies, play the ukulele, hang out with friends, etc.
Do you have a nickname? How did you get your nickname?
Rita Diva. My brother gave it to me because I guess I act like a diva.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
The tradition of the program is great. And the scenery.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My parents because without them I wouldn't be here.
My favorite thing about Salt Lake City is:
The people I've met.
The teammate I most admire is who, and why?
I admire my whole team because we've all had hardships and are pushing forward regardless to make each other better.
What do you like best about Coach Levrets?
He pushes us to be the best we can on the court and more importantly in the classroom.
What are your goals for this year?
To win the Pac-12 tournament and head to the NCAA tournament.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I need music. Any music.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
Sociology with a certificate in criminology. I want to be a juvenile counselor.
