Members of the Utah women's basketball team will be writing blog entries throughout the season. Today's entry is from Rachel Messer.
Hey Ute fans,
It's Rachel here! Just wanted to give you guys a quick update on how we've been doing recently. We played last Saturday at CU and won in overtime! It was a great win for us and a super exciting atmosphere to play in. It was even more exciting for me because I'm from Colorado and I had a LOT of friends and family at the game to cheer me on. It's always nice to win in your home state.
Even though we got a good win last week, we've been working all week on mentally and physically preparing for the big games ahead of us. We play Cal on Thursday and Stanford on Saturday. They're HUGE games for us, and we have a good chance of winning both of them. We have to play well in both games, but we all believe in each other so you never know what could happen!! Thanks for being such AMAZING fans and keep supporting us! See you in a couple weeks! GO UTES!!
