The Utah women's basketball team is currently on a 10-day trip through Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Follow the Utes travels as they travel through Scandinavia through player diaries and photos, which will be posted each day of their trip. Today's diary entry is from Awa Kalmstrom, who is a Swedish native.
It feels really good to be back home. I have been waiting for this day for a long time now. Being home feels kind of weird and a lot of things are different. I have had a blast and it feels good to show my teammates where I am from and show them how I grew up. Our sightseeing has been great and we have seen the royal palace and some other interesting buildings. I have also been able to see my family and friends which was the best part of the trip. I have not seen them in a long time. Sweden was super fun.
We are now in Oslo and it took us 7 hours to get here with the bus. Oslo is a beautiful place but so cold. It reminds me so much of Stockholm with all the old buildings. Our sightseeing today was awesome and we got the chance to see some really cool buildings. I am so excited to see the rest of Oslo and then Copenhagen. Hope that all the Ute fans have a great day!
Go Utes.
