Incoming Utah women's basketball freshman Emily Potter is averaging eight points and 3.5 rebounds per game through the first three games of the FIBA U19 World Championship for Women while playing with the Canada Junior Women's National Team.
After Canada won by forfeit over Senegal in its first game of group C, Potter contributed six points and six rebounds coming off the bench in a 69-67 win over the Netherlands. Potter scored 10 points and had two steals in Canada's loss to France in the final game of pool play.
Canada will face the winners of group D in the Eight-Final Rounds. Canada faces China on Monday, July 22, followed by the USA on Tuesday and Lithuania on Wednesday.
