Incoming Utah women's basketball freshman Emily Potter helped lead the Canada Junior Women's National Team to a seventh-place finish at the FIBA U19 World Championship for Women.
Potter finished third on the team with 7.6 points per game during the tournament, and also averaged four rebounds per game.
After reaching the quarterfinals, Canada fell to Spain and Brazil before defeating Japan for seventh place. Potter scored four points with four rebounds against Spain and recorded five points vs. Brazil. She scored eight points with five rebounds against Japan.
Potter's best game of the tournament was a 15-point, eight-rebound outing against host nation Lithuania.
