Today's spotlight is on freshman forward Emily Potter.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
Winning a bronze medal at 17U Worlds.
What is your favorite sport besides basketball?
Volleyball.
What do you like to do when you are not playing basketball?
Sleep, eat.
Do you have a nickname?
Potter, it's my last name.
Why did you choose Utah? What is the best thing about Utah?
Staff, players and the sense of family.
Who had the biggest influence in your life?
My family as a whole and all of my coaches because they shaped me to be who I am today.
My favorite things about Salt Lake City are:
Mountains and the view.
The teammate(s) I admire most are who, and why?
Kerri, a point guard I played with in 10th and 11th grade. She always delivered the best passes.
What do you like best about Coach Levrets?
His intensity.
What are your goals for this year?
Get stronger and find ways to contribute when I'm struggling to score.
What are your pregame superstitions?
I don't really have any.
What is your major and what do you want to do after you graduate?
I am undecided right now, but possibly thinking about Business.
