The Utes broke a three-game losing streak after a 63-57 win over No. 24/23 California Sunday afternoon at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Scouting the Beavers: No. 11/12 Oregon State enters Friday's game 5-1 in Pac-12 games with its only loss coming against a No. 13 UCLA team. The Beavers have two players averaging in double figures with Sydney Wises leading the way with 15.2 points per game. Marie Gulich averages 10.7 points per contest while pulling down 8.1 rebounds per game. The Beavers lead all-time against the Utes 14-7 including winning the last six contests between the two schools.
Scouting the Ducks: Oregon enters Friday's game 12-6 overall and 2-4 in Pac-12 games after defeating USC, but falling to UCLA last weekend. The Ducks have three players averaging in double figures with Ruthy Hebard pouring in 14.7 points per game while grabbing 8.1 rebounds per contest. Sabrina Ionescu is averaging 13.8 points per game while Lexi Bando is averaging 12.0 points per game. The Ducks defeated the Utes in all three matchups last season – two during the regular-season and one in the WNIT – and hold a 14-9 advantage.
Ute-Fence: Utah ranks 13th in the NCAA and third in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage defense with opponent shooting 34.5 percent from the floor. The Utes are 10th nationally and first in the league in block shots average, swatting 6.1 shots per contest. The team's perimeter defense holds opponents to 25.4 percent from the 3-point arc good for eighth in the nation and second in the Pac-12.
Potter in the Paint: Junior forward
Emily Potter is ranked third in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage as the 6-6 Winnipeg, Manitoba native is shooting 55.9 percent from the floor. Potter leads the Pac-12 in blocked shots with 54, good for ninth in the NCAA. Potter knocked down her 1,000th career point on a free-throw in the first quarter against Northern Arizona to emerge as one of just 26 Utes to reach the milestone.
Magnificent Malia: Junior wing
Malia Nawahine is the Utes second leading scorer with 11.3 points per game as she leads the team from the foul line on 78-percent shooting. Nawahine grabbed a career-high five steals in a 30-point win over Nevada. She is also second on the team with 40 assists on the season.
Boasting Boclair: Junior wing
Tanaeya Boclair is one of three Utes averaging double figures with 10.7 points per game. She knocked down a career-high 17 points against No. 19 Arizona State.
Cruzin' Crozon: Senior wing
Paige Crozon is averaging 9.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. The team's lone senior has tallied 850 career points with time to reach the 1,000 points club. Crozon scored a season-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers against Arizona and has two double-doubles this season.
Buckets by Bean: Sophomore
Erika Bean dishes out 6.1 assists per game, good for second in the Pac-12. Despite being the shortest starter, the 5-8 guard also has 10 blocks on the season while pulling down 4.6 rebounds per game. Bean earned her first double-double of her career with 10 points and 10 assists at No. 10 UCLA.

Emily Potter has tallied six double-doubles in 13 games while also averaging in double figures with 16.1 points per game. Senior wing
