Scouting the Buffs: Colorado (11-8, 1-7) is riding a five-game losing streak entering the matchup with the Utes. The Buffs have three players averaging in double figures with Kennedy Leonard leading the way with 18.3 points per game and a team-high 5.7 assists per game. Alexis Robinson (11.6) and Haley Smith (10.4) are the next top scorers for the Buffs as Smith is pulling down a team-high 5.7 boards per game.
Boarding: Utah ranks ninth nationally and third in the Pac-12 Conference with 30 defensive rebounds per game while averaging 42.47 boards per game.
Potter in the Paint: Junior forward
Emily Potter is ranked third in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage as the 6-6 Winnipeg, Manitoba native is shooting 54.3 percent from the floor. Potter leads the Pac-12 in blocked shots with 60, good for ninth in the NCAA. Potter knocked down her 1,000th career point on a free-throw in the first quarter against Northern Arizona to emerge as one of just 26 Utes to reach the milestone.
Magnificent Malia: Junior wing
Malia Nawahine is the Utes second leading scorer with 10.7 points per game as she leads the team from the foul line on 77-percent shooting. Nawahine grabbed a career-high five steals in a 30-point win over Nevada. She is also second on the team with 42 assists on the season.
Boasting Boclair: Junior wing
Tanaeya Boclair is one of three Utes averaging double figures with 10.3 points per game. She knocked down a career-high 17 points against No. 19 Arizona State.
Cruzin' Crozon: Senior wing
Paige Crozon is averaging 9.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. The team's lone senior has tallied 866 career points with time to reach the 1,000 points club. Crozon scored a season-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers against Arizona and has two double-doubles this season.
Buckets by Bean: Sophomore
Erika Bean dishes out 6.1 assists per game, good for second in the Pac-12. Despite being the shortest starter, the 5-8 guard also has 10 blocks on the season while pulling down 4.8 rebounds per game. Bean earned her first double-double of her career with 10 points and 10 assists at No. 10 UCLA.
Seeing Double: Junior forward
Emily Potter has tallied six double-doubles in 13 games while also averaging in double figures with 15.6 points per game. Senior wing

Emily Potter is moving up the career blocks list in Utah's record book with 180 blocks as her 3-block performance against Nevada moved her into second. The 6-6 forward has swatted 60 shots this season including a season-high 6 blocks against USC and Stanford. Previous Action: University of Utah's women's basketball team suffered back-to-back losses on the road last weekend against No. 11/12 Oregon State and Oregon. The Utes fell to Oregon Sunday afternoon 84-66 on the road in Matthew Night Arena. Freshman wing

Kiana Moore also finished in double figures, for the second time this season, with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor with two assists. Oregon (14-6, 4-4) was paced by freshman Sabrina Ionescu who found herself with a triple-double scoring 14 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 13 assists and Ruthey Hebard who scored a game-high 25 points for the Ducks.
