FAST BREAKS
• Utah is coming off a double-overtime loss to Cal (77-75), while Stanford dropped a home contest to Colorado (81-74) this past Thursday in the Bay Area.
• The Utes played its first overtime game of the season and first overtime contest since taking the Bears to overtime in the Pac-12 Tournament last season. The double-overtime affair was Utah's first since 2007.

Kyle Kuzma registered his 13th double-double of the season overall and the seventh double-double in Pac-12 play. He finished the game with 23 points and 14 boards.

David Collette poured in 14 points for his 12th double-digit scoring effort in as many games he has played with the Utes this season.

Parker Van Dyke played in a season-high 31 minutes for the Utes on Thursday. He was 3-of-4 from the field and finished with seven points and a career-high-tying six rebounds.
THE GAME
The Utah Runnin' Utes (15-7, 6-4) close out its trip to the Bay Area with a road contest against the Stanford Cardinal (11-11, 3-7) this Saturday, Feb. 4. Tip-off between the Utes and Cardinal is set for 1:30 p.m. PST at Maples Pavilion.

Saturday's contest will be televised live on Fox Sports 1. Aaron Goldsmith will call the action, while Casey Jacobsen provides color commentary for the game.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah fell to California, 77-75, in double-overtime at Haas Pavilion on Thursday. The loss dropped the Utes to 15-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
• The Utes played in overtime for the first time this season and for the first time since going to overtime against the Golden Bears in the Pac-12 Tournament last season.
• Utah moved to 2-1 all-time against California in overtime contests.

Lorenzo Bonam added 15 points for the Utes. He scored nine of his 15 points in the final overtime period.

SCOUTING STANFORD
• Stanford dropped its third straight game with a loss to Colorado at Maples Pavilion on Thursday. The Cardinal fell to 3-7 overall in conference play following the loss.
• Reid Travis leads Stanford with 16.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Dorian Pickens follows with 12.2 points per game.
• The Cardinal shoot just under 43 percent from the field, while giving up 43 percent to opposing squads.
• The Cardinal are 7-4 overall at home on the year, which includes a 2-3 record against Pac-12 opponents.
SERIES HISTORY WITH THE CARDINAL
Utah leads the all-time series, 18-12, after the two teams split the season series last year. Utah dropped an overtime contest to the Cardinal, but the Utes evened the series with a home win.
The Utes are just 2-8 all-time when facing the Cardinal at Maples Pavilion. Utah's lone win was a 100-87 win over Stanford back on Jan. 23, 1971. Stanford has won five consecutive games against Utah at home, which includes a 4-0 mark since Utah joined the Pac-12 in 2011-12.
Four of Utah vs. Stanford's final scores have been decided by three points or less since the Utes joined the Pac-12. Utah won two of those contests, but Stanford has won the previous two games when decided by three points or less.
