SALT LAKE CITY – The highs reached 97 degrees today in Salt Lake City for the fourth day of 2017 Utah football fall camp, but the heat didn't damper the fun the team was having on the field.

Head coach Kyle Whittingham has stressed that chemistry has been key with the team this camp, and they showed it on the field today in high spirits.

Q: What was the focus on in practice today?
A: To improve, progress and continue to get conditioning in.

• Sophomore Julian Blackmon got a pass breakup on tight coverage on a pass over the middle.
• Troy Williams showed his quick release with a pass through the slot to Tyquez Hampton for a first down.
• Cooper Bateman showed his arm strength with a 30-plus yard pass to Alec Dana for a completion.
• Filipo Mokofisi and Bradlee Anae had consistent pressure on the quarterback today.
• Troy Williams continues to show his versatility in the scramble, breaking free down the middle for a 10-plus yard gain.
• Freshman TJ Green put on a show with a spin move to the outside for a 10-yard gain.

"I don't think about it all. I just think about my task at hand. I come out and compete every single day. I don't think about starting, I just think about what my job is as a receiver and do what I need to do to get on the field."

"It was good. I felt like the offense did OK today, but I'd like to see us do a little better. But we had a good day of competition and it was another day to get better."
