Q: How did your interest in basketball begin?
A: My grandpa and both of my parents played college basketball and had a love for the sport. So, at a young age I was introduced to basketball because of them and my interest took over ever since. I do not remember ever not having an interest and love for basketball.

A: I have a couple favorites about basketball. I just love the sport, the competitiveness of the sport, the experiences it presents, and playing with others who have the same desires as me.
Q: What made you choose Utah?
A: I chose Utah for a couple reasons. On my visits, I felt an automatic connect with the team and coaches. The facilities were all new and I enjoyed the Ute atmosphere. Spending a lot of time outdoors growing up also played a role in my decision as I wanted to attend a college where nature and adventures would always be present. I definitely chose the right college.
Q: What are some of your favorite things to do outside of basketball?
A: I enjoy spending time outside, like hiking, going to the lake, or simply exploring. Growing up in South Dakota, I have always been around horses so sometimes if I ever have free time I love to go horseback riding.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you've been given?
A: Do not ever wish your time away. Live every day as if it was your last.
Q: Who is your biggest influence in life on and off the court and why?
A: My family. They are always supporting me and without them I would not be where I am today. They put so much money, time, and effort into me that I could never thank them or repay them for what they have given me. Every member has a special piece of character that influences me to be who I am, and I know that wherever I go or whatever I do they will always support and love me.
Q: What do you think are some keys to success when it comes to being a college athlete?
A: I think focus, attitude and effort are three big keys to becoming successful.
Q: If you could play and go pro in any other sport, what would it be and why?
A: If I could play any other sport it would be volleyball. I played in high school and absolutely enjoyed it. It is such a fun sport.
