Utah To Celebrate National Girls & Women In Sports Day Friday

University of Utah Athletics will host an Open Forum Q&A in celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day on Friday, Feb. 8 prior to Utah women's basketball's home match against USC. The event will run from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with the annual Pink game starting at 7 p.m.
The open forum, which will be hosted by senior women's administrator Nona Richardson, will feature current and former female student athletes from volleyball, gymnastics, track and field, swimming, soccer and skiing.Â
The event is open to the public and will be held in Legacy Hall in the Jon M. and Karen Huntsman Basketball Facility. Light food and beverages will be served at the event.Â
