Gianna Kneepkens has been named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award for the second straight week, the conference announced on Monday. This is the fourth time she has claimed this honor this season.

Her four honors are the most by a single player in the Pac-12 this season. The Utes have taken home six freshman of the week honors this season. Utah has claimed this award for three-straight weeks.

The Duluth, Minn., native started the week off by scoring 17 points against then-No. 19 Oregon. She was 7-of-14 from the floor in the game. She grabbed five rebounds, three on the offensive end, and dished out two assists.

She continued to score in double-figures on the week, with 11 points in the contest against Colorado on Friday night. She played a career-high 37 minutes while grabbing six rebounds, one-off of her career-high. She tallied two more assists in the contest.

She closed the week off with a nine-point performance at Colorado. In the victory over the Buffaloes, Kneepkens shot 50 percent from the floor. She tallied four rebounds and two assists in the contest.

Over the three games, Kneepkens averaged 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. She shot 40.0 percent (14-for-35). She hit at least one three-pointer in every game and now has made a three in eight-straight contests.
