SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's tennis program closes out the fall season this weekend when they travel to Las Angeles to compete in the LMU Invitational. The event will run from Nov. 11-13 at the LMU Tennis Center.
Utah looks to continue to battle this weekend and finish the fall season on a solid mark after Berk Bugarikj and Patrik Trhac won the ITA Mountain Regional and followed it up with a semifinal appearance in the ITA National Championship.
Like Bugarikj and Trhac, Geronimo Espin Busleiman won the singles draw of the ITA Mountain Regional and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA National Fall Championships, where the top seed defeated him in the draw.
The Utah team will face opponents from host LMU, Cal Poly, and UC Irvine. Matches will begin on Friday, Nov.11, at 10 a.m. MT with Utah facing UC in doubles play. The team will then proceed with another round of doubles against host LMU.
