ATLANTA – Utah Women's Basketball was a recipient of the 2021-22 WBCA Team Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Wednesday.Â

The awards represent outstanding achievement in the classroom by collegiate women's basketball teams and student-athletes. The 2021-22 season is the 27th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls. For the official release,

Utah succeeded on the court but also in the classroom. The Utes advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011 and compiled a 20-win season while finishing with the 30th best GPA in all of NCAA Division I women's basketball. The Utes finished the season with a 3.530 GPA. Utah had the second-best GPA out of all Pac-12 Schools last season.Â

The team award recognizes women's basketball programs that completed the 2021-22 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.Â
