THIS WEEK
The No. 10/8 Utah Utes (14-1, 3-1 Pac-12) return home this week after playing three consecutive Pac-12 Conference games on the road, and eight of their last 11 games overall away from home. Utah will face No. 14/10 Arizona (14-2; 4-1) at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15. Friday's game against ASU was canceled due to ASU player unavailability, while Arizona lost at Colorado Friday. The Utes bring the nation's fourth-highest-scoring offense into the weekend, averaging 87.3 points per game, and return to the Jon M. Huntsman Center, where they are 7-0 this season and have won 11 of their last 12 dating back to last season.

- The recently announced "Utes Beyond the Paint" Community Series engages fans with the program in helping to serve critical needs in the community.
- The series debuts this week in support of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge. Information on how to donate and serve will be available throughout the arena.
- Other in-venue features include the honorary Coach of the Game from the Hope Lodge, and the giveaways are Utah stickers and red light sticks.
- The Utes check in at No. 10 in this week's AP poll, down two spots from last week, and hold steady at No. 8 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The No. 8 ranking in the coaches poll ties the Utes' all-time high, established last week. Last week's No. 8 AP ranking was the program's highest in that poll.
- This week marks the Utes' ninth consecutive week ranked in the AP poll, matching the program's all-time record (1/15/2001-3/12/2001). Utah's most total weeks ranked in the same season is 13 in 2005-06.
- This week's NCAA NET rankings place the Utes at No. 6, second-best among Pac-12 teams behind Stanford (4).
- Utah's forfeit win over Arizona State (1/13), per Pac-12 policy, counts as a win for Utah only in the conference standings. Per NCAA policy it does not count overall.
- Utah's 14-0 start was the second-best in program history (16-0 in 1997-98) and tied for the fourth-best start by any program in Pac-12 history. The team's 3-0 start to Pac-12 play was its best since joining the conference in 2011-12.
- Utah is the nation's No. 4 scoring team (87.3 ppg), one of four major statistical categories in which the Utes boast a top-4 ranking: 2nd in field-goal pct. (50.2); 3rd in scoring margin (+27.9) and 4th in scoring (87.3) and assists (19.5).
- The Utes feature a balanced scoring attack, with four players averaging in double figures: Alissa Pili (19.3), Gianna Kneepkens (14.1), Jenna Johnson (11.9) and Kennady McQueen (10.9). Pili (3rd) and Kneepkens (13th) rank among the Pac-12's best.
- Junior forward Alissa Pili, who was recently named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 Watch List, leads the team in scoring (19.3; 3rd Pac-12, 24th NCAA) and ranks 10th in the nation (1st Pac-12) in field-goal percentage (62.8%). The Nov. 28 Pac-12 Player of the Week recently topped the 1,000-career-point mark.
- Sophomore Gianna Kneepkens ranks fourth in the nation in three-point shooting percentage (48.0), No. 1 among Pac-12 players.
- Sophomore Ines Vieira ranks sixth in the nation in assist-turnover ratio (2.86), No. 1 among Pac-12 players.
- Utah holds an all-time home record of 542-131 (.805), and has won 11 of its last 12 home games, including 7-0 this year. The Utes have nine undefeated home seasons.
- Watch Lists: Soph. Gianna Kneepkens (Jersey Mike's Naismith Award/nation's top player; and Cheryl Miller Award/top small forward) and Jr. Alissa Pili (Katrina McClain Award for the top power forward; Wooden Award Midseason Top 25).
