SALT LAKE CITY – Utah's women's basketball head coach
Lynne Roberts announced the signing of three new Utes to the 2024-23 squad on National Signing Day. Utah will be adding Kylie Ray, Grace Foster and Brooke Walker to the Utes roster.
"Super excited to welcome Kylie, Brooke, and Grace to the Utah Basketball family," Roberts said. "With all three, we competed in recruiting and are so happy to have these three join us next season. We continue to sign not only tremendous talents to our program, but tremendous fits to our team's culture and goals. All three of these young women are bright, motivated, and have a passion to be the best they can be."
Walker, an ESPN four star recruit, comes to the Utes after a successful career at Andover in Andover, Kansas, while Ray, an ESPN four star recruit, joins the Utes from Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, Calif. Foster will join the Utes from Perth, Australia where she's had a successful career in the WABL and NBL1 leagues.
Walker was named First Team All-State in Kansas following her sophomore and junior years as she averaged 16 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 4.3 steals per game. Ray was named a three-time Pacific League MVP and helped her team to two Pacific League Championships. Foster helped the NBL1 Willetton Tigers to a championship title and was named the Tigers Rookie of the Year.

What Coach Roberts Says About Walker: "Brooke is a scoring combo guard that can really shoot and score at all three levels. She will be great in our pick and roll offense. She's a tremendous competitor and, simply put, Brooke is a winner. She will be able to step in immediately and contribute."
