Lynne Roberts announced the addition of transfer Sam Crispe to the 2023-24 season.

Crispe, a 6'3"Â post, comes to the Utes from Boston University where she was a freshman in 2022-23. She played in all 33 games and started in seven games. The Castle Pines, Colo., native, averaged 5.6 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game. She led the Terriers with an .886 free throw percentage and ranked third on the team with 127 total boards.Â
Crispe recorded a career high of 16 points against Boston College going 8-8 from the free throw line.Â
She shot .438 from the field going 70-160 and .886 from the free throw line. She pulled down 48 offensive boards and 79 defensive boards. She also posted 43 assists and 15 blocks.Â

- As a junior, she ranked second in the Centennial League in scoring and rebounding, garnering Second Team All-State and First Team All-Centennial recognition
- Totaled 12.1 points per game and 8.1 boards per game as a sophomore to earn Second Team All-Centennial League honorsÂ
- In her freshman year, she registered 14.1 points and 4.5 caroms per contest.
Personal: Daughter of Andrea and Jesse Crispe … Has two siblings, Alex and Brendon … Her mother, Andrea, played volleyball at Evansville University … Member of the National Honor Society and National Business Honor Society … Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at BU.
