SALT LAKE CITY –  The Big 12 Conference has announced the student-athletes attending Big 12 Media Day and Utah women's basketball will be represented by
Kennady McQueen,
Jenna Johnson and
Gianna Kneepkens alongside head coach
Lynne Roberts.Â
McQueen, a senior from Henefer, Utah, led the Utes in made three pointers last season. She shot 38.7 percent from beyond the arc knocking down 67 total threes. She also shot 48.5 percent from the field last season. She also led the team in free throw percentage with an 85.7% clip. Utah went 10-1 in games last season where McQueen hit three or more made three pointers.Â
Over her career at Utah, she has made 208 threes and currently sits at No. 5 in Utah's career top-10 records for made three-pointers.Â
Johnson, a senior from Medina, Minn., shot 50.2 percent from the field last season and averaged 8.9 points per game. She is the team's top returning rebounder. Johnson averaged 5.6 rebounds per game and pulled down 190 total.
She averages 10.9 points per game throughout her career and has shot 50.6 percent from the field and 73.0 percent from the free throw line. She has pulled down 474 career rebounds and has a career average of 4.9 rebounds a game.Â
A 2022-23 All-American, Kneepkens is returning to action after suffering a season-ending injury early in the 2023-24 season. Prior to her injury, Kneepkens was averaging 17.8 points per game while shooting 63.3 percent from the field and 54.0 percent from beyond the arc. She averaged 5.5 rebounds and four assists per game.Â
Kneepkens knocked down three or more three-pointers in all but one game last season with a season-high of five made against Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 19, 2023). She broke into the 1,000-point club when she put up 19 against Carroll College (Nov. 28, 2023).Â
She averages 14 points per game throughout her career and has career shooting averages of 49.1 percent from the field, 42.3 percent from the three and 84.1 percent from the line. She has 154 total made three pointers and is just five shy from breaking into Utah's top 10 all-time threes made list.Â
All three Utes attending Big 12 Media Day are 1,000 point scorers and returning starters.Â

Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark will open Media Days with an 7:30 a.m. MT press conference on Tuesday followed by a series of Q&A sessions with women's head coaches and student-athletes moderated by Missy Heidrick. A feed of all press conferences and Q&A sessions will be available on ESPN+.
The Big 12 is the only league with multiple men's and women's basketball programs both ranked in the preseason top 12 for their respective sport. The Conference tied for the national lead with four of the top 16 teams in The Associated Press Top 25 Women's College Basketball Preseason Poll while the Big 12 became the first conference to have at least five men's teams in the preseason top 10 in the history of the poll.
