Big 12 Women's Basketball Announces TV Networks and Tip Times

SALT LAKE CITY –  The Big 12 Conference along with its TV partners have announced official tip times and TV designations for the upcoming 2024-25 basketball season.
The home slate will feature one game on national TV while the remainder of the schedule will air on ESPN+. Utah fans can watch every regular-season game in 2024-25 through the ESPN app on their mobile, tablet or Smart TV with the exception of the Friday, January 31 game vs. Arizona which will be on FS1.Â

The first Big 12 Conference game that'll broadcast on a linear network will be Utah's road game against Iowa State on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 3:00 p.m. and will air on ESPN2. Utah will then be featured in another road match up this time against rival BYU on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2:30 p.m. (MT).Â

The 2024-25 season tips off Monday, Nov. 4 with league action set to commence Saturday, Dec. 21 as this year marks the Conference's first with 16 members. The regular season will be followed by the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship, which will take place in Kansas City's T-Mobile Center for the second consecutive season.
The current league members combined to go 8-0 in their first game of the 2024 NCAA Tournament while 15 of the 16 teams finished the 2023-24 season in the top 101 of the NET rankings. Four Big 12 teams are ranked in the top 16 of ESPN's Women's Basketball Way-Too-Early Top 25, tied for the most of any league.
The Utes were picked to finish sixth in the Big 12 coaches' poll. Utah finished the 2023-24 season with a 23-11 record and went 11-7 in Pac-12 action. The Utes will enter the 2024-25 season coming off its third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance, and returns four starters from last year's team that advanced to the Round of 32.
The Utes' 2024-25 schedule begins with a pair of home games against two in-state opponents, facing Southern Utah on Nov. 4 and Weber State on Nov. 7.
