LAS VEGAS — The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2023-24 Women's Basketball All-Conference honors and Annual Performance Awards presented by Nextiva. Utah's
Alissa Pili was named to the All-Pac-12 Team with
Kennady McQueen,
Jenna Johnson and
Ines Vieira each earning honorable mentions.
Vieira also earned an honorable mention for the All-Defensive Team.
Alissa Pili ended the regular season second in the Pac-12 in total points (630) and points per game (21.0). She has scored 20 or more points in a game 16 times this season including four games boasting 30 or more points. The week of Dec. 11, Pili earned Pac-12 Player of the Week after putting up two 30-point performances. First, Pili dropped 31 points against St. Joseph's (Dec. 7) and a career-high 37 points against No. 1 South Carolina.
Pili has led the Utes all season shooting 55 percent from the field, 40 percent from the field and 81.9 percent from the free throw line.
This is Pili's third appearance on the All-Pac-12 team and her second straight. While Pili was at USC she was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2020 as well as All-Freshman and All-Pac-12 honors. Last season, she was named Pac-12 Player of the Year and raked in an All-Pac-12 honor.
Vieira ended the regular season second in the Pac-12 in total steals (76) and third in the Pac-12 in steals per game (2.53). This is her first appearance as an All-Pac-12 honorable mention and first time earning All-Pac-12 defensive honorable mention. This is the first time since 2019 Utah has placed someone on the All-Defensive team when Kiana Moore earned an honorable mention.
Vieira ended the regular season averaging eight points per game. She leads the Pac-12 in assists (181) and assists per game (6.0). She is shooting 42 percent from the field and 32 percent from the three. She leads the Utes averaging 32.4 minutes per game.
McQueen has earned All-Pac-12 Honorable mention for three consecutive years. She is fourth in the Pac-12 in total made threes (59) and sixth in the Pac-12 in threes per game (1.97). McQueen leads the Utes in made threes. She ended the regular season averaging 10.3 points per game. She's shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 39.9 percent from the three and 81.5 percent from the line. McQueen has averaged 29.9 minutes per game.
Johnson is no stranger to Pac-12 postseason awards. She was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team in 2022 and earned an All-Pac-12 honorable mention last season. She ended the regular season averaging 9.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. She's currently shooting 53.2 from the field, 41.7 percent from the three.
