Big 12 Women's Basketball Schedule Released

SALT LAKE CITY – The Big 12 Conference has released the dates and site designations for the league's 2024-25 women's basketball season, and Utah will host nine conference foes at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in its inaugural Big 12 campaign. Specific times for each game will be announced after television selections are finalized.

Head Coach Lynne Roberts' team is coming off its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and will be returning four starters from last year's team that advanced to the Round of 32.Â

The Utes open their 18-game Big 12 schedule in Salt Lake City hosting familiar foe Arizona State Saturday, Dec. 21 followed by a road trip to take on Arizona, Dec. 31 before going to Iowa State Jan. 5.Â

Utah will then be home Jan. 8 vs. Kansas State and Jan. 11 against Houston. The Utes will take on the Baylor Bears Jan. 14 on the road before taking on TCU Jan. 17 in Fort Worth. Utah will return to the Jon M. Huntsman Center to host Kansas Jan. 22 before heading just south to take on rival BYU, Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Utes will then host Arizona Jan. 31 before heading back on the road to take on Texas Tech Feb. 5.Â

Utah will host UCF Feb. 8 before hosting former Pac-12 foe Colorado Feb. 12. The Utes will rematch with Arizona State in Tempe come Feb. 15 before the Utes host Oklahoma State on Feb. 18.Â

The Utes' final road games of the regular season will be at Cincinnati Feb. 23 and at West Virginia Feb. 26.Â

The finale of the regular season will occur March 1 as Utah will host rival BYU in the Huntsman Center.Â

The 2025 Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 5-10 in Kansas City, Mo., at the T-Mobile Center.Â

During the 2023-24 season, Utah was the fourth highest-three point shooting team in the NCAA, averaging 10.2 threes per game. Utah also had the sixth-highest assist average in the NCAA last season, with 19.4 per game. Utah is returning 2022-23 All-American Gianna Kneepkens as well All-Conference performers in Jenna Johnson, Inês Vieira and Kennady McQueen.
