SALT LAKE CITY – Week 5 of the NFL's regular season is packed with action featuring Utah Football alumni, as 29 Pro Utes are on team rosters throughout the league and 16 are expected to suit up for game action this weekend.
Each time slot throughout Sunday, as well as Monday Night Football, will feature at least one Pro Ute.

Several division-leading clubs boast Utah connections through four games; Buffalo is the only undefeated team remaining in the AFC with Cole Bishop, Dalton Kincaid and now Mitch Wishnowsky helping the Bills to a 4-0 mark. Jacksonville (3-1) is tied for the AFC South lead thanks in part to the services of linebacker Devin Lloyd and wide receiver Tim Patrick.
In the NFC, running back Sione Vaki is with Detroit—off to a 3-1 start and the early leader in the North. Out in the West, linebacker Connor O'Toole and the Seahawks are in a three-way tie for the division lead.
In addition, practice squad members Thomas Yassmin (LA Chargers) and Britain Covey (Philadelphia) are on practice squads with their respective teams atop the division.
Utah continues to be represented in the pro coaching ranks with a pair of alumni on the sidelines. Alex Whittingham is in his eighth season in the Kansas City Chiefs organization and first as assistant defensive line coach, while Brian Johnson is in his second season as the Washington Commanders' assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator.
