THIS WEEK
The No. 9 Utah Golf team is set to hit the course for the second time in just three days having just wrapped up a
seventh-place finish at the Williams Cup on Oct. 21.
Led by the No. 3 collegiate golfer in the country,
Gabriel Palacios, the Utes are hoping to finish their fall slate strong this weekend at the Golf Club of Georgia Invitational from Oct. 24-26.
Utah has once again pushed the envelope on their rise in the collegiate golf world, starting their 2025-26 campaign with a third-place finish at the Wohali to open the season, followed by a second-place finish at the Tindall, and the Williams Cup top 10 finish just a few days ago.
Additionally, the Utes made some history with their first No. 1 ranking both as a team and individual (Palacios) in last week's Clippd Scoreboard Rankings.
Palacios has been playing some of his best golf in his junior year, earning a third-place finish at the Wohali, first-place finish at the Tindall, and a 10
th-place finish at the Williams Cup.
Senior
Davis Johnson currently sits as the No. 16 player while junior
Sergio Jimenez and senior
Brandon Robison round out the ranked Utes at No. 65 and No. 109 respectively.
