SALT LAKE CITY – Division races are heating up across the NFL as Week 11 nears and 14 alumni of Utah Football are expected to suit up throughout the leaguewide slate.

Bye this week: New Orleans (Terrell Burgess, Devaughn Vele)
Overall, 29 Pro Utes are on rosters throughout the league. It includes Utah alumni dotting the rosters of six squads that either lead their divisions or are tied for the top spot. Denver is 8-2 and leads the AFC West, thanks in part to four Broncos who call Rice-Eccles Stadium their former home. In the AFC East, Miles Battle is a member of the Patriots' practice squad; New England is 8-2 and enjoying a great season under Mike Vrabel.
NFC leaders include Seattle (7-2) in a tie for the top spot in the West Division, with Connor O'Toole in his rookie season. Philadelphia (7-2) leads the East with Britain Covey on the practice squad and in the North both Detroit and Chicago are tied at 6-3. Sione Vaki is in his second season with the Lions, while Jaylon Johnson is in year No. 6 as a member of the Bears—though he is currently on IR.
Utah continues to be represented in the pro coaching ranks with a pair of alumni on the sidelines. Alex Whittingham is in his eighth season in the Kansas City Chiefs organization and first as assistant defensive line coach, while Brian Johnson is in his second season as the Washington Commanders' assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator.
