SALT LAKE CITY – The NFL's regular season continues with Week 2 as a total of 28 Utah Football alumni are on rosters throughout the league with 17 former Utah Utes expected to suit up across 11 games this weekend.
On Wednesday, former Utah punter and 2016 Ray Guy Award winner Mitch Wishnowsky was signed to the Washington Commanders practice squad. Wishnowsky had previously spent 2019-24 with the San Francisco 49ers.

Utah continues to be represented in the pro coaching ranks as the 2025 NFL season picks up. Alex Whittingham is in his eighth season in the Kansas City Chiefs organization and first as assistant defensive line coach, while Brian Johnson is in his second season as the Washington Commanders' assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator.
