Captured nine wins in singles action, primarily from the No. 6 position … picked up a win at the ITA Men’s All-American Championships … took a pair of matches at the ITA Mountain Regional Championship and the National Collegiate Tennis Classic … went 4-0 at the Utah Invitational with a win over Andrew Nakajima of No. 45 Utah State … won nine doubles matches with David Micevski and Santiago Sierra
2015-16:
ITA Scholar Athlete ... defeated Jake Douglas of No. 39 Washington, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 … topped Joan Farah of No. 67 Loyola Marymount, 6-7, 7-6, 6-1 … earned a Pac-12 win over Trent Botha of Arizona, 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 … topped Abe Hewko of No. 55 Boise State, 6-1, 6-3 … won a match at the USTA/ITA Men’s Mountain Regional Championship and two eventual matches against players from Air Force … captured three matches at the Bobcat Invite … in doubles play, teamed with Freddie McGeehan to knock of Filip Bergevi and Oskar Wikberg of No. 9 Cal, 6-4 … the duo also topped Luka Mounter and Luke Bohuslav of No. 67 LMU and earned a Pac-12 win over Matt Dunn and Shoki Kasahara of Arizona …teamed with Matt Cowley to top Jack Swindles and Jonas Maier of No. 60 Utah State and a duo from Northern Arizona at the 2015 USTA/ITA Men’s Mountain Regional Championship … the pair also won three matches at the Utah Invitational Tournament … with Santiago Sierra, beat Abe Hewko and Lewis Roskilly of No. 55 Boise State
2014-15:
Attended Missisippi State University as a freshmen ... suffered a shoulder injur and had surgery to recover ... went 1-0 in sngles and 2-2 as a freshman.
Prior to Utah:
Reached as high as No. 3 in Netherlands junior rankings ... also ranked in the top 100 in both singles and doubles in the Netherlands ...
Personal:
Son of Mariet van den Berg and Dolf Weverink ... has a brother, Dobbe ... made Bulldog Honor Roll at Mississippi State University ... majoring in business administration and is striving to earn a MBA.
