SALT LAKE CITY – Utah (14-7, 3-7) hosts No. 10 Washington and Washington State this weekend inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The Utes take on the Washington Huskies Friday at 8 p.m. MT for the team's Blackout Game and host the Washington State Cougars Sunday at noon MT.

Around the Arena: Friday's contest against the Huskies is the team's annual Blackout Game. The first 1,000 fans receive a black replica jersey t-shirt. Wear back and get in FREE. It's also National Girls & Women in Sports Day – we will recognize Utah female athletes along with Youth Girls in Sport. The game is also Faculty & Staff Appreciation night where all Utah faculty and staff can redeem up to six free tickets by presenting their University ID. Both games will have games and activities around the concourse starting one hour before tipoff.

Scouting the Huskies: Washington (20-3, 8-2) is coming off its second Pac-12 loss of the season after falling to Stanford last weekend. Washington leads the NCAA in 3-point field-goals made (255), and the Pac-12 in free-throw percentage (77.9), scoring offense (86.6), and 3-point field goal percentage (39.6). Senior guard Kelsey Plum leads the NCAA in points per game with 31.2. Washington's Chantel Osahor (15.3) and Natalie Romeo (10.2) are also averaging in double figures.
Scouting the Cougars: Washington State (9-12, 4-6) snapped a four game losing streak after defeating California in the team's last outing. The Cougars have three players averaging in double figures with Borislava Hristova (14.7), Chanelle Molina (12.8) and Louise Brown (10.4).
Boarding: Utah ranks 11th nationally and third in the Pac-12 Conference with 30 defensive rebounds per game while averaging 43.1 boards per game.

Lynne Roberts has featured two new starting lineups in the last two outings for the Utes.

Potter in the Paint: Junior forward
Emily Potter is ranked third in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage as the 6-6 Winnipeg, Manitoba native is shooting 54.1 percent from the floor. Potter leads the Pac-12 in blocked shots with 67, good for eighth in the NCAA. Potter knocked down her 1,000th career point on a free-throw in the first quarter against Northern Arizona to emerge as one of just 26 Utes to reach the milestone.
Magnificent Malia: Junior wing
Malia Nawahine is the Utes second leading scorer with 10.7 points per game. Nawahine grabbed a career-high five steals in a 30-point win over Nevada. She is also second on the team with 49 assists on the season.
Boasting Boclair: Junior wing
Tanaeya Boclair is one of three Utes averaging double figures with 10.3 points per game. She knocked down a career-high 17 points against No. 19 Arizona State.
Cruzin' Crozon: Senior wing
Paige Crozon is averaging 9.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. The team's lone senior has tallied 887 career points with time to reach the 1,000 points club. Crozon scored a season-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers against Arizona and has two double-doubles this season.
Buckets by Bean: Sophomore
Erika Bean dishes out 5.8 assists per game, good for second in the Pac-12. Despite being the shortest starter, the 5-8 guard also has 14 blocks on the season while pulling down 4.8 rebounds per game. Bean earned her first double-double of her career with 10 points and 10 assists at No. 10 UCLA.
Seeing Double: Junior forward
Emily Potter has tallied seven double-doubles in 21 games while also averaging in double figures with 15.1 points per game. Senior wing

Emily Potter is moving up the career blocks list in Utah's record book with 187 blocks as her 3-block performance against Nevada moved her into second. The 6-6 forward has swatted 67 shots this season including a season-high 6 blocks against USC and Stanford. Malia Nawahine came off the bench for the Utes scoring 13 points while dishing out three assists. Despite struggling from the floor early, Utah used a third quarter push, outscoring the Buffs 20-13, to claim the lead. Colorado came back in the fourth quarter, but Utah hung on shooting 41 percent on the game for its third Pac-12 Conference win of the season.
