The Basics: The University of Utah women's basketball team will host UT-Arlington on Monday, Nov. 27 for its third consecutive home game. The game is set for a 6 p.m. tip.
Home Sweet Home: The Utes are 492-102 all-time in the Jon M. Huntsman Center, holding a winning home record for three straight seasons and in five of the last six seasons. The Utes are 3-0 in Salt Lake City this season.
About the Mavericks: The UT-Arlington Mavericks enter the game against the Utes as one of 42 teams in the country that are still undefeated (5-0). The Mavericks and the Utes share similar non-conference schedules with UTA already picking up wins over Incarnate Word (61-48) and Oral Roberts (70-46). They are led by senior Crystal Allen, who is averaging 17.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. The Mavericks are under the direction of Krista Gerlich who is in her sixth season at UTA after leading them to a 22-9 record and a second place finish in the Sun Belt Conference in 2016-17, earning a spot in the WNIT.

Utes vs. The Sun Belt: Utah is 3-1 all-time against the current members of the Sun Belt Conference, having only played against Texas State and South Alabama. The last time Utah played against a team from the Sun Belt Conference was in 2011 when they fell to South Alabama, 61-53 in the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic. The last time Utah defeated a team from the SBC was in 1991 when they came away with a 69-64 overtime win at Texas State.
Last time Out: Utah put up a convincing win over Incarnate Word on Friday, Nov. 24, beating them 90-31. Emily Potter scored 21 points to lead the Utes, adding seven rebounds and a season-high four blocks. Daneesha Provo added a career-high 19 points (7-for-9) with Kiana Moore pouring in a season-best 14 points. The Utes defense was stingy with the Cardinal only shooting 18-percent from the floor in the game with 15 turnovers.
100 Straight: Senior Emily Potter has started in every game since stepping foot on campus as a Ute. Potter has started in her 100th consecutive game against Incarnate Word (11/24).
Low Points: Utah held Incarnate Word to just 31 points (11/24). It was the 63rd time in program history that the Utes have held an opponent to below 40 points and the first time since Utah held Houston Baptist to 33 points in a 71-33 win in 2012. The school record for low points by an opponent was 22 points (San Diego State) in 2003.
To the 90s: The Utes scored 90 points against Incarnate Word (11/24), the fifth time since Lynne Roberts took over the program that the Utes have score 90-or-more points. Utah has scored 90-plus points in 72 games in program history.
