SALT LAKE CITY –The 12th-seeded University of Utah women's basketball team will start Pac-12 Tournament play against the Arizona State Sun Devils in the first round on Thursday at 2 p.m. PT.

Pac-12 Networks with Anne Marie Anderson (PBP) and Tammy Blackburn (Analyst) providing the commentary. Tyson Ewing will have the play-by-play call on
ESPN 700.
The tournament will take place at KeyArena in Seattle this Thursday through Sunday, March 2 - 5. Tickets are still available at pac-12.com/tickets or the East Box Office at KeyArena.
Utah (16-13, 5-13 Pac-12) played ASU once this regular-season, falling 66-44 at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. Utah shot 12 percent from the floor in the first quarter and rallied with 58-percent shooting in the third quarter, but couldn't emerge from the early deficit. Junior wing
Tanaeya Boclair tallied her 10th double figure scoring game of the season shooting 7-of-14 from the floor and a perfect 3-of-3 from the foul line for a career-high 17 points. Boclair also grabbed six rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot against the Sun Devils.
The Utes have not faced ASU in the Pac-12 Conference tournament since joining in the 2011-12 season. Arizona State holds an 11-9 advantage over the Utes including with the last six matchups.
Arizona State (18-11, 9-9) is coming off a split weekend defeating USC 69-62, but falling to No. 13 UCLA 55-52.
The Utah/Arizona State winner will face No. 4 seed UCLA in the second round on Friday, March 3 at 2 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Networks.

Potter in the Paint: Junior forward
Emily Potter is ranked fifth in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage as the 6-6 Winnipeg, Manitoba native is shooting 52.2 percent from the floor. Potter leads the Pac-12 in blocked shots with 86, good for eighth in the NCAA. Potter knocked down her 1,000th career point on a free-throw in the first quarter against Northern Arizona to emerge as one of just 26 Utes to reach the milestone.
Cruzin' Crozon: Senior wing
Paige Crozon is averaging 10.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. The team's lone senior has tallied 993 career points with time to reach the 1,000 points club. Crozon scored a season-high 25 points including five 3-pointers against Washington State (02/05) and has two double-doubles this season.
Boasting Boclair: Junior wing
Tanaeya Boclair missed one game with an ankle sprain but is averaging 9.9 points and 4.2 rebounds for Utah. She knocked down a career-high 19 points against Oregon (02/17).
Buckets by Bean: Sophomore
Erika Bean dishes out 5.6 assists per game, good for fourth in the Pac-12. Despite being the shortest starter, the 5-8 guard also has 16 blocks on the season while pulling down 4.6 rebounds per game. Bean earned her first double-double of her career with 10 points and 10 assists at No. 10 UCLA.
Magnificent Malia: Junior wing
Malia Nawahine is the Utes second leading scorer with 10.5 points per game. Nawahine grabbed a career-high five steals in a 30-point win over Nevada. She is also second on the team with 57 assists on the season.
Seeing Double: Junior forward
Emily Potter has tallied nine double-doubles in 29 games while also averaging in double figures with 13.9 points per game. Senior wing
Paige Crozon has tallied two double-doubles on the season (Fresno State, Stanford). Sophomore guard
Erika Bean earned her first double-double of her career with 10 points and 10 assists at No. 10 UCLA.
Record Watch: Junior forward
Emily Potter is moving up the career blocks list in Utah's record book with 212 blocks as her 3-block performance against Nevada moved her into second. The 6-6 forward has swatted 86 shots this season including a season-high six blocks against USC and Stanford. Potter has made her way into the 1,000 points club in a 22-point performance against Northern Arizona. Senior wing

Tanaeya Boclair was aggressive on both sides of the floor with six rebounds, five points, three assists and two blocks. Utah hung on with the No. 11 team in the nation, but Washington rallied behind Kelsey Plum's 57 points as the Utes fell 84-77 Saturday afternoon inside Alaska Airlines Arena. Utah was led by Crozon with 22 points including five 3-pointers while pulling down seven rebounds and dishing out four assists. Boclair and Potter also finished in double figures for the Utes. Boclair scored 15 points including a perfect performance, 9-9, from the foul line and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Potter scored 12 points, all from field-goal range.
