Last Time Against Alabama: Utah battled the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa last season, falling 65-60 in just the second game of the season. The Utes led most of the first half, but a troubled third quarter ultimately led to the Utes demise.
Megan Huff put up 13 points and eight rebounds while
Emily Potter had 11 points and six rebounds.
Â
Three Pointers:
• Utah had four players score in double-digits against Nevada (
Dre'Una Edwards, 16;
Megan Huff, 15;
Dru Gylten, 11;
Daneesha Provo, 10) with two of those players also notching double-doubles.
• Utah has played against an opponent from the SEC in two straight seasons and also has a pair of them on the 2018-19 schedule in Alabama and Florida (Duel in the Desert).
• After Utah's game against Nevada, the Utes are now 33-12 all-time in season openers and 3-0 under the direction of head coach
Lynne Roberts.

Joeseta Fatuesi,
Tanaeya BoClair) and is the first time since 2010 that a true freshman has opened their career with a double-double (Michelle Plouffe vs. SMU, 11 pts, 11 rbs).
