On The Road:Utah is 24-20 on the road under the direction of head coach
Lynne Roberts (5-0 in 2018-19, 7-7 in 2017-18, 6-6 in 2016-17, 6-7 in 2015-16).
Three Pointers:
• Utah jumped into the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2008 and quickly broke into the top-15 this week. It is the eighth time in program history the Utes have landed in the top-15 nationally (last was No. 12 in March of 2008).
• Utah's seven Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors is the second most by a program in a season and it is just the second time in Pac-12 history that a program has had three separate student-athletes win.
• After going just 1-of-17 from the three against Washington on Jan. 13, the Utes have shot 45-percent or higher from the arc in two of the last three games, including going 11-of-24 against Stanford. Utah moved into 11th nationally in three-point percentage (.384).
Last Time Out: It was a marquee win for the Utah women's basketball program on Sunday as the Utes defeated No. 6 Stanford for the first time in program history (entered the game 0-23 against the Cardinal). With so many highlights to go around, the headline of the day was the play of senior
Erika Bean. The Sacramento, Calif. native scored a career-high 23 points on a career-high five made threes that included a dagger from the arc with just over a minute to go in the game to push the Utes into the lead.
Megan Huff added 17 points and 13 rebounds with
Kiana Moore pitching in 13 points and three assists.
Utah vs. The Pac-12: The Utes are 112-149 against the current members of the Pac-12. Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011-12, Utah is 51-83 in conference play.
A History In Rankings: Utah entered the AP Top 25 last week at No. 21 and moved up to the No. 14 after its win over No. 6 Stanford on Sunday. It is the first time the Utes have been ranked since 2008 with the highest AP ranking for the Utes coming in at No. 11 in 1998.
Top-25 Wins: Under the direction of Roberts, the Utes have knocked off a top-25 opponent in each season, including Utah's win over No. 6 Stanford on Sunday. Utah's win over Stanford ties for the highest ranked win in school history after also beating No. 6 Long Beach State in 1984. It was also the first top-15 win for the Utes since 2006 when they defeated No. 15 Arizona State in the NCAA Tournament.

Beans Big Game: Senior
Erika Bean was unstoppable in Utah's win over No. 6 Stanford on Sunday, scoring a career-high 23 points. It was the first-career 20-point game for the senior, adding in a career-best five-of-8 three pointers (62%). Her nine made field goals against the Cardinal beat her previous best of six, which she knocked down against Eastern Washington this season. She has scored in double-figures four times this season and 11 times in her career.
Stepping into the Spotlight: Utah's mentality this season has been "next woman up," and that couldn't be more evident with the play of
Kiana Moore. After
Daneesha Provo was lost for the season to an injury, Moore has started the last six games. In those six games, she has averaged 12.1 points, scored in double-digits in four (including a career-high 19 against Arizona) and has knocked down 12-of-22 (54%) from three. The Fairfield, Calif. native ranks second in the Pac-12 in conference games only in three-point percentage (53.8%). She is averaging 7.5 points per game overall this season after only averaging 1.9 last season.
Huff on the Double: Megan Huff has notched a double-double in 10 games, tying for 20th nationally while also tying for second in the Pac-12. She has 16 double-doubles since becoming a Ute and 21 in her career (5 at Hawaii).
Tough Huff: Megan Huff's 13 rebounds against Stanford tied a season-high, also grabbing 13 against Colorado and Arizona. Her career-high is 14, set against Arizona State last season. She has 10 games this season with double-figure rebounds and ranks second overall in the Pac-12 this season in rebounds per game (9.6).
The Team That Passes Together: Utah currently ranks 16
thnationally (3
rdin the Pac-12) in assists per game, averaging 18.0. Of Utah's eight eligible players, five are averaging over 1.0 assists a game with two being ranked in the top-10 in the Pac-12 (
Dru Gylten, 3
rd;
Erika Bean, 6
th). Utah has had 15 or more assists in 17 of its 19 games, including in six straight.
Quiet Confidence: Although her shot total doesn't rank high in the Pac-12, graduate transfer
Sarah Porter has been lethal for the Utes from the three-point line. She currently ranks third in the Pac-12 and first on the team in three-point percentage (.463), shooting 19-of-41 from the arc.
