- The Utes have matched the program's highest position in the AP poll this week, moving up one spot to 11th. The Utes also ranked 11th for one week on Jan. 26, 1998. The USA Today Coaches poll also has Utah 11th this week, up one spot.
- This week's NCAA NET rankings place the Utes at No. 6, second-best among Pac-12 teams behind Stanford (3).
- The Utes (12-0) are tied for the best start in the program's Pac-12-era history, matching the 2018-19 team. It's the third start of 11-0 or better in the eight-year tenure of head coach Lynne Roberts, and Utah is one of just six unbeaten teams in the nation. The 2016-17 Utes started 11-0 in Roberts' second season. The best start overall in program history was 16-0, in 1997-98, when Utah was a member of the WAC.
- Utah is the nation's No. 2 scoring team (92.5 ppg), one of five major statistical categories in which the Utes boast a top-5 ranking: 2nd in scoring, field-goal pctg. (52.4) and assists (21.4); 3rd in scoring margin (+34.6) and 6th in assist/turnover ratio (1.52).
- The Utes feature a balanced scoring attack, with four players averaging in double figures: Alissa Pili (20.1), Gianna Kneepkens (14.4), Jenna Johnson (12.4) and Kennady McQueen (10.5), plus three others between 8.8 and 7.3. Pili (3rd) and Kneepkens (9th) rank in the top 10 in scoring in the Pac-12.
- Junior forward Alissa Pili leads the team in scoring (20.1; 3rd Pac-12, 19th NCAA) and ranks sixth in the nation in field-goal percentage (66.4%). She was named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Nov. 28, and recently topped the 1,000-career-point mark.
- Sophomore Gianna Kneepkens ranks in the top 15 in the nation in three-point shooting percentage (49.1; 13th), third-best among Pac-12 players.
- Sophomore Ines Vieira ranks sixth in the nation in assist-turnover ratio (3.11), No. 1 among Pac-12 players.
- Utah has made 8 or more three-pointers in seven games this season, and 93 in Lynne Roberts' tenure with the Utes, compiling a record of 68-25 in those games.
- The Utes rank second in the nation in assists (21.4), including a season-best 33 against No. 16 Oklahoma, and have assisted on 63.9 percent of made field goals (257 of 402).
- Utah's 46-point victory over No. 16 Oklahoma (11/16) was the program's largest win margin vs. an AP Top 25 team, and the largest for a Pac-12 team against a ranked foe since 1999-00.
- Preseason Watch Lists: Soph. Gianna Kneepkens (Jersey Mike's Naismith Award/nation's top player; and Cheryl Miller Award/top small forward) and Jr. Alissa Pili (Katrina McClain Award for the top power forward).
- Utah holds an all-time home record of 542-131 (.805), and has won 11 of its last 12 home games. The Utes boast nine undefeated home seasons at the Jon M. Huntsman Center, and had a 28-game home winning streak from 1/1/95 to 2/8/97.
