The Basics: The University of Utah women's basketball team will play the second half of its two-game road swing with an in-state battle at Weber State on Friday, Nov. 17 with a 7 p.m. tip off. It is the 53rd meeting between the two teams.
On The Road: Utah is 12-14 on the road under the direction of head coach Lynne Roberts (0-1 in 2017-18, 6-6 in 2016-17, 6-7 in 2015-16). The Utes are 19-5 all-time against Weber State when playing in Ogden, including the last two trips north.
About the Wildcats: Weber State won its season-opener against Utah Valley, 75-57 with three double-digit scorers, including 20 points from senior Kailie Quinn. The Wildcats return eight letter winners from last season, including three starts. They also welcome two graduate transfers joining their team in Briana Gray (Bradley) and Larryn Brooks (Texas Tech). Weber State finished the 2016-17 season 13-18 overall and 6-12 in Big Sky play.
