The Basics: The University of Utah women's basketball team makes its return to the Jon M. Huntsman Center this week for a pair of games, starting on Friday, Feb. 16 vs. Washington State at 7 p.m. The weekend will then continue with a 2 p.m. tip against Washington on Sunday, Feb. 18 for Senior Day.
Home Sweet Home: The Utes are 497-107 all-time in the Jon M. Huntsman Center, holding a winning home record for three straight seasons and in five of the last six seasons. The Utes are 8-6 in Salt Lake City this season.
Game Promotions: Utah's game against Washington State is Harry Potter Night! First 200 fans will receive a wand with the first 100 fans getting Harry Potter glasses with team autographs after the game. On Sunday, stick around after the game as the Utes honor their four seniors - Emily Potter, Tanaeya BoClair, Tilar Clark and Wendy Anae.
About the Cougars: The Washington State Cougars enter the game against the Utes 10-16 overall and 3-11 in Pac-12 play. WSU has wins over Colorado, Washington and Arizona, but have dropped six of their last seven games. Despite their record, the house one of the best scorers in the conference in Borislava Hristova who is averaging 20.7 points per game in Pac-12 play to rank second.
About the Huskies: The Washington Huskies head into the weekend 7-18 overall and 1-13 in conference with their only Pac-12 win coming against Washington State on Jan. 21. They are currently on a six game losing streak as they head to play Colorado on Friday. They are being led in scoring by Amber Melgoza, who is averaging 18.9 points per game in Pac-12 games to rank fourth in the conference.

Last time Out: Utah fell to the California Golden Bears on Sunday, Feb. 11, 84-73. Cal led by as many as 20 points in the second quarter, but Utah was able to come back and make it a six-point game in the fourth. Unfortunately, Cal was able to convert late free throws and run out the clock to clinch the win. Utah was led by Megan Huff, who scored a career-high 27 points, adding five rebounds and two assists. Tori Williams chipped in 13 points while Daneesha Provo added 12.
Huff to 20: Megan Huff finished the game against California (2/11) with a career-high 27 points, her sixth time this season reaching the 20-point mark. The last time a Utah player scored 25+ points was against Creighton in 2015 when Emily Potter notched a career-best 28 points.
The Williams Swing: Against California (2/11), freshman Tori Williams scored 11 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter, rallying the Utes back from a double-digit deficit. Her 11 straight points got started on back-to-back-to-back three-pointers. It was the eighth game this season she has hit two-or-more threes in a game. She has 44 total this season, the most among all Pac-12 freshmen this season.
Dishing Dimes: Erika Bean tied her season-best in assists against California (2/11), dishing out 11. She also had 11 against Saint Mary's in non-conference play. It was the 15th game this season that she has had five-or-more assists and the 38th in her career. It also marked the sixth time in her career that she had had a double-digit assist total.
Double Trouble: Through 14 games in Pac-12 play, Megan Huff is averaging 15.4 points per game while Daneesha Provo is pouring in 14.9. They are ranked 11th and 12th in the league in scoring with Utah being one of just three teams (Oregon, UCLA) in the Pac-12 to have two players ranked in the top-15 in points per game.
Hometown Hero: Through 11 games on the road, Emily Potter is only averaging 9.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, but when playing in the Jon M. Huntsman Center this season, Potter averages 12.9 points and 7.3 boards.
Points, Points, Points: This season, Utah is 14-3 when they score 70-or-more points compared to being 1-7 when scoring 70-or-less. Utah scored 74 points in its win over Washington and 81 against Washington State on the road in January.
