The Basics: The Utah women's basketball program is set for its final home games of the regular season, starting with the Washington Huskies on Friday, Feb. 22. The game is set for a 7 p.m. MT tip.

The Opponent: The Washington Huskies enter the game 8-17 overall and 1-12 in Pac-12 play. They finished the non-conference season 7-5, but then has struggled in Pac-12 play with its only win coming against Colorado on Jan. 11 (68-58). Despite their struggles in the win column, the Huskies are led in scoring by Amber Melgoza. Melgoza is averaging 18.0 points per game, ranking seventh in the Pac-12 and in the top-60 nationally. Washington also has two other players averaging over 7.0 points per game in Missy Peterson (8.7) and Darcy Rees (7.0) with Rees also leading the team in blocks (20).
Next Up: After Utah's Friday night battle with the Huskies, the Utes will look to the Washington State Cougars on Sunday at 12 p.m. The game against Washington State will be Utah's Senior Day as well.

• Utah's nine Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors set a Pac-12 record for most freshman of the week honors by a program in a season, passing Cal who had eight in 2015-16. Edwards's six awards is the third most by a player in a season (Kristine Anigwe - Cal, 8; Kelsey Plum - Washington, 7).
• There are currently only two teams in the country that are ranked in the top-20 nationally in field goal percentage, three-point percentage and free throw percentage and they both play in the Pac-12 (Oregon, Utah). Utah is 14th in FG%, 16th in FT% and seventh in 3-PT%.
• The Utes have four seniors on the team this season in
Erika Bean,
Megan Huff,
Sarah Porter and
Daneesha Provo. The quartet has accounted for 49-percent of Utah's point total this season.
Last Time Out: Utah lost its sixth straight game on Sunday, falling 60-58 against No. 19 Arizona State. The Utes held an 18-point lead heading into the final eight minutes of the game, but wouldn't score another point as the Sun Devils went on a 20-0 run to win the game. The Utes had three double-digit scorers, led by
Megan Huff with 15 points, nine rebounds and a team-high tying seven assists.
Dru Gylten added 12 points with
Kiana Moore contributing 10.
Utah vs. The Pac-12: The Utes are 112-155 against the current members of the Pac-12. Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011-12, Utah is 51-89 in conference play.

Bean Goes For 500: Erika Bean has 139 assists through 25 games this season, giving her 511 total in her career to rank fourth all-time in program history and 14
thamong active career leaders in Division I women's basketball. She is just the fourth player in program history to eclipse the 500-career assist mark.
That Assist Game: Erika Bean has 56 career games with five or more assists, including in the last six games. She has led the Utes in the category in 66 career games, averaging 4.2 assists per game in her 121 appearances.
Dre Shoots, She Scores: Freshman
Dre'Una Edwards is currently ranked third in the Pac-12 (first among freshmen) in shooting percentage, knocking down 54-percent of her shots. She has shot 50-percent or higher in 15 games this season and ranks second among freshmen nationally this season, trailing Naz Hillmon on Michigan who is shooting 64-percent.
Nearing the Triple: Megan Huff had a strong all-around game against Arizona State on Sunday, scoring 15 points and nine rebounds, adding a career-high seven assists. With three more assists the senior would have had her first career triple double.
Gylten Trends: In the last four games,
Dru Gylten has reached double-digits in three of them, including her career-high 24 points against USC. In that span, the freshman has averaged 14.3 points per game.
Two Peas in a Pod: Utah is the only team in the country that has two players ranked in the top-25 nationally in total assists with
Erika Bean tied for 18
th(139) and
Dru Gylten tied for 23
rd(136). The Utes are also the only team in the Pac-12 that have two players averaging over 5.0 assists per game with Bean putting up 5.6 and Gylten contributing 5.4.
